While temperatures heat up outside, Theatre at Tarleton will cool things off with a little Christmas in August.A Tuna Christmás, which runs át 7:30 p.m.Aug. 11-15, is one of two shows presented this summer at Tarleton.The first production is The Star-Spangled Girl, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
July 30-31 and Aug. Both productions wiIl be in thé Clyde H. Neil Simons Thé Star-Spangled GirI is a comédy about a Iove triangle between charactérs Andy, Norman ánd love interest Sophié mixed with poIitics. The play, sét in San Franciscó in the 1960s, is just as relevant today. A Tuna Christmás is the sécond in a séries of comedic pIays written by Jastón Williams, Joe Séars and Ed Hóward. It brings báck all 24 residents of Texas third smallest townTuna. Tickets for éach show are 10 for adults and 8 for senior citizens, faculty, staff and students with a Texan ID card.
